This week the Stock Market experienced the worst week in 5 years. The question has been posed by some contrarians “will Monday be Black Monday?” Ugh.
Oh how we do forget how it was not long ago. Being from Oklahoma, I remember the stories of the dust bowl and Great Depression. Wasn’t a fun time.

I got a damn A in hostory and i’ve forgetton it all already
yeah it was the day the stock market crashed and started the great depression. the dust bowl happened in throughout many states. oklahoma was part of it. what happened was farmers missused their land and then a fairly long drought came in. and with no root structures to keep plants in the ground massive dust storms burried whole houses and farm equipment and such
Very nice Okie. And yeah its nice being old enough to have grown up with people who knew first hand the great depression and what it means to be poor. I mean poor. Not what some people think of it now. My grand folks on both sides taught us all to be damn thankful and live with pride not looking for handouts but hand ups.
Ah ha now i remember, the wall street crash!
